How It Works

Four decades on snow have a way of simplifying things. Technical ski development starts with what the ski is actually doing underfoot, and with the small adjustments in balance and timing that change the outcome of a turn far more than any amount of talking about it at the top of the run.

For instructors, the work shifts from personal skiing to teaching craft. Mentoring covers how a concept is introduced, how a session is sequenced, and how to read a class quickly enough to adjust. Training design and delivery then turn that into something a whole staff can run consistently through a season.

What You Take Away

Individual skiers get technical change that holds up in variable snow rather than only on a groomed pitch. The measure is not how a turn looks on a demonstration run, but whether it still works when the light goes flat and the surface stops cooperating.

Ski schools get a staff that teaches to one standard, developed through national level coach development work with the Romanian Ski Instructor Association and years of training instructors as well as athletes.
